The short version
- We only collect what you give us when you join the waitlist: your email address and, if you choose, your child's age range.
- We use it to send you news about Life of Wonder. Nothing else.
- We never sell it, and we never share it with anyone except the services that run the waitlist for us.
- This website doesn't use cookies or tracking.
- You can leave the list, or ask us to delete everything, at any time by emailing james@wonderglass.world.
Who we are
This website is run by Life of Wonder Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17273920). We decide how your information is used, which makes us the "controller" under UK data protection law.
If you have any questions about your data, email james@wonderglass.world and you'll get a reply from a real person.
What we collect

If you reply to one of our emails, we'll also have whatever you write to us. We use it to read and answer your reply, and to learn what families are interested in.
Why we're allowed to use it
We send you emails because you asked us to by joining the waitlist. That's your consent, and you can take it back whenever you like. We also keep basic technical records, like server logs, because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of trusted services to run the waitlist. They only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Brevo: stores the waitlist and sends our emails. Brevo is based in France. It may record whether an email was delivered and opened, which helps us check our emails are arriving.
- Vercel: hosts this website. Like any web host, it briefly processes your IP address and keeps short-lived server logs.
- Google Fonts: supplies the fonts on this website, so your browser connects to Google to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
Some of these services are based outside the UK, in the EU and the US. Where your information leaves the UK, it's protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
We will never sell your information or share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're on the waitlist. If you leave the list, we stop emailing you straight away and delete your details unless you ask us to keep you on a do-not-contact list. If we close the waitlist without launching, we'll delete everyone's details.
Children
The waitlist is for parents, carers and other grown-ups. If you're under 18, please ask a grown-up to sign up for you. We don't knowingly collect information from children, and the age range we ask for isn't enough to identify anyone.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your information
- stop using it, or stop emailing you
- give you a copy of it to take elsewhere

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Leaving the list
Reply to any of our emails with "unsubscribe", or email james@wonderglass.world. Our news emails also have an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If it's a big change, we'll email you first.
